Justin Jacques joins the Waterloo Bucks for his first season in 2016 as the team's bench coach. From 2007-2014, Jacques was the First Base/Outfield Coach at Colorado Christian University. Jacques was also involved in recruiting and the team’s strength and conditioning program. Jacques has previously helped guide the Arvada Colts (Rocky Mountain Baseball League) to two National Baseball Congress World Series.  In addition, Jacques has been a Licensed Professional Counselor and Masters Addictions Counselor, working in the mental health field for the last 12 years. Jacques has a B.A. in Health Promotion from the University of Northern Iowa and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver. Jacques also has a Certificate in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University. In the fall, Jacques will pursue his PH.D. in Counseling at The George Washington University.
