Jackson Tetreault is a right handed pitcher who joins the Muskrats following
his freshman year at Cameron University. In 2016, Jackson went 4-2 over 14
games. He had an ERA of 4.74 and held opponents to just a .183 batting average. He
struck out 27 hitters while walking 13. Some season highlights include a relief appearance
against Washburn on February 6 where he threw 2.1 innings, had 2 strikeouts,
and gave up no hits and no runs. He earned a win against Tarleton State (4/23),
throwing 1.1 hitless innings of relief. He also picked up a win against Angelo (5/1),
with 2.0 innings of relief allowing no hits and recording 4 strikeouts. Jackson is the
son of Janet and Miles Tetreault. The Ruskin, Florida native attended Lennard High
School, where he lettered in baseball, tennis, and football. He was named Pitcher of
the Year and Tennis Player of the Year for his teams his senior year.
