Billy is a Corvallis native who starred for the Corvallis High School Spartans and the Richey's Market American Legion teams before playing at Mt. Hood Community College and at Western Oregon University.
He played for the Knights in Gresham and in Corvallis and was a West Coast League all-stazr in 2008, helping the Knights win the WCXL championship.

He is in his second season as an assistant coach. Billy coaches at Mt. Hood CC during the school year.
