A new face will be leading the Altamonte Springs Boom this summer. Chuck Schall, a former assistant coach for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs and the current head coach for the Olympia High School Titans in Orlando, Florida, is the new head coach for Boom this summer. The Titans baseball program is considered one of the strongest in the country. In 2015, Olympia spent 12 weeks as the No. 1 team in the country, according to MaxPreps.com. There is no such thing as an “off season” for Schall, who spends fall and winter coaching at baseball camps and speaking at clinics, along with travelling overseas to spread word about the game of baseball.
