• D3baseball.com preseason First Team All-American • Made 15 appearances, starting 9 • Went 6-1 with a 4.22 ERA and 62 K in 74.2 IP • Team leading 4 CG • Had 1 save on season

According to Coach:

“Sam Eagleson got off to a slow start this year but has been steadily improving and was totally dominating last night in his two innings of tune-up work at Montclair. He was able to locate all his pitches (2 seam fastball, 4 seam fastball, curve, change-up, and slider. He is very quick to the plate from the stretch, making it very difficult for opposing base runners to steal. He is an excellent athlete and as such, a terrific fielder. His biggest strength is that he is a bulldog on the mound who wants the ball and hates to be removed from games! I think the poor weather this spring caused him to get off to a slow start as our games were routinely changes, etc. I expect him to be very successful this summer and guarantee that he will be an excellent teammate!”
