Lytle pitched for the NAIA Sterling Warriors from 2013-14 and graduated with a degree in physiology. Compiled 6-5 record with 4.45 lifetime ERA. Struck out 62 batters in 62 2/3 career innings, mostly as a starter. Led team to 2013 NAIA World Series.

Also played two years of junior college baseball with the Columbia Basin Hawks. Graduated from Bishop Kelly High School, where the Knights won the Idaho 4A State Championship his senior year. Throws two and four-seam fastball, change-up, slider, and forkball.
