This is Wright’s first summer with the Jersey Pilots. During the school year, he attends Post University, where he just finished his sophomore campaign. Wright made 42 starts for the Eagles, hitting .205. During his freshman year, he hit .287 with a .345 on-base percentage and a .434 slugging percentage. Wright attended Butler High School. He was third-team All-Morris County his senior season and second-team All-Morris County his junior season. He also had a 33 game hitting streak that lasted over the course of three seasons.
