An outfielder from Trinity College, Pierce had a very impressive Freshman campaign. In his Freshman year, he appeared and started in 27 games for the Bantams in the outfield. Pierce was named to the Second Team All-NESCAC. He led the team in batting average (.402), home runs (4), RBIs (16), hits (35), doubles (9), total bases (58), slugging percentage (.667), on-base percentage (.475) and HBP (5) and opened the season on a 10-game hitting streak and recorded a hit in 15 of his first 16 games. Pierce will add to what looks to be a potent SteepleCats offense.
