Kirsten finished 1-1 a 4.09 ERA and eight strikeouts for the Patriots during the 2009 playoffs.  He started 21 games for the Cats this season, finishing with a 4.30 ERA and 94 strikeouts in 132 innings pitched.   In 2009, Kirsten went 9-5 with a 3.61 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 127 innings.  He finished up the 2008 season with an 8-3 record, 2.69 ERA, and 89 strikeouts in 137.1 innings pitched.  He has pitched for Fort Worth for the past six seasons. He has a career 46-24 record, 3.40 ERA, and 485 strikeouts in 728.1 innings.  He has two seasons on Single-A experience for the Texas Rangers organization.
