T.J. joins the Pump jacks this summer along with fellow Nevada teammate Alex Lott. Friedl didn’t see any action this spring with the conference-champion Wolfpack, but played in 30 games last spring as a true freshman. Four of his appearances were starts, and he collected four RBI and scored seven runs.
Freidl played 29 games last summer with the Kitsap Blue Jackets of the West Coast League, posting a .314 batting average over 105 at bats. He collected 33 hits, 9 RBI, and 21 runs, and drew 22 walks.
T.J. played three varsity seasons at Foothill High School in northern California where he posted a career batting average of .308 and on-base percentage of .373. He earned honorable mention nods for the East Bay Athletic League as a junior and senior.
