Signed with the Cleveland Indians organization for $250,000 in 2012. Can reportedly throw 93 mph (150 kmh) fastball but has struggled with control. Also throws a slider and split-fingered fastball. Baseball America reports “has the deliberate, hesitating windup typical of many Asian pitchers.”


 


2014: Appeared in one game for the Indians’ Arizona League affiliate, throwing a perfect inning with two strikeouts. Managed by Tony Medrano.


 


2013: Compiled 0-1 record for the Arizona League Indians. Pitched in 12 games, throwing 18 innings, allowing 22 hits with 18 walks and 13 strikeouts with seven wild pitches. Compiled 9.50 ERA.


 


Pitched in Japan for the Kobe Suns in the Industrial Leagues. Arizona League Indians featured seven former or future major leaguers on rehab assignments from 2013-14.
