Lifetime .920 OPS. 0-1 in 25 relief pitching appearances, compiling 5.53 ERA in hitter’s league. Has thrown 27 2/3 innings, allowing 43 hits, 19 walks, and 18 strikeouts.

2014: Clubbed .361 for the Taos Blizzard with six home runs and 35 RBIs in 55 games. Collected 74 hits and posted a .421 on base percentage. Made only two pitching appearances, throwing 2 2/3 innings and striking out two.

2013: Taft spent most of the season with the Raton Osos as a pitcher, appearing in 18 games with nondescript statistics (6.53 ERA, 20 2/3 innings, 31 hits allowed, 10 walks, 14 strikeouts). Was 6 for 15 as a hitter (.400), however, collecting two doubles and four RBIs.
