Guardascione returns to the Bullfrogs from Palm Beach State College. This spring, he hit .324 with 1HR and 29RBI. From Feb. 9-Mar. 18 he recorded at least one hit in 15 of 17 games played. He also had 15 multi-hit games. Guardascione played for the Bullfrogs in 2014. The catcher was one of six Bullfrogs to be selected by MLB scouts to play in the Big League Dreams Showcase game in 2014. In the game, Guardascione went 1 for 2, hitting a 2 run home run. Guardascione was a top prospect behind the plate in 2014 but also provided some solid production offensively. Appearing in 31 games, Guardascione provided 18 hits and 8 RBI for the team. Like de la Rosa, Guardascione was strong in clutch situations. Most notably, Guardascione led the Bullfrogs to a win over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters last August with a walk-off hit in the bottom of the 11th inning.
