Bingel represents another player who can say he was the best high school player in his home state.  The Peabody, Massachusetts native earned “Mr. Baseball” from ESPNBoston.com’s high school panel.  He was the third player to be awarded the annual award. The right-handed two-way player was sought after by UConn, Holy Cross and Northeastern, but chose Bryant University to play collegiately in order to continue his contributions both on the hill and with the bat.
