Lamberton was hitting .211 in 33 games this season. He hit a home run and drove in 12. Baseball isn't the only sport he has played. Defensively, he's had a .984 fielding percentage while only committing two errors. Lamberton also played hockey in his younger years before choosing to concentrate on baseball. He's been playing shortstop since he was seven years old and very rarely has played another infield position, though he has spent time at second and third base sparingly. To him, shortstop is the hardest position on the field, so having to move elsewhere would be an easy adjustment. He knows quite a few SteepleCats players going into the season. Not only is he teammates with Dan Shea, but he also knows Bryan Daniello and Vinny Siena from his high school days. During his time at Salesianum High, he batted .428 and .406 as a junior and senior, respectively. He is a Business Finance Major.
