Since his freshman season in Ithaca, Matt has been a staple of the Big Red bullpen. During his first spring with the team the Poughkeepsie native stranded all ten of the baserunners he inherited, and did not surrender an earned run in five appearances against Ivy League opposition. In the two years since, Matt has continued to show a propensity for working out of jams, and will add a veteran presence to the Schooners’ pitching staff.
