A midseason addition for the Waves in 2014, Lynch infused life into a Waves offense that won its first postseason game in postseason history. In 25 games, Lynch hit .333 with three homers and 20 RBI. Lynch also drove home three runs in the 2014 NECBL Southern Division Semifinals against the Newport Gulls.
Aside from his time with the Waves, Lynch became a powerful infielder during his time with the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles. As a junior in 2015, Lynch hit .313 in 52 games, all while hitting nine home runs and 32 RBI. In his sophomore campaign, Lynch hit .256 with a homer and 28 RBI in 57 starts. Before two successful seasons, Lynch showed promise as a freshman, hitting .247 with 23 RBI in 52 games.
Lynch was a versatile player for Dwyer High School in Florida before he arrived on the scene with Southern Mississippi. Playing third base, first base, and catcher for Dwyer, Lynch garnered numerous accolades for his performance, including the distinction of being a Rawlings All-Star in 2012, as well as a Palm Beach Post First-Team selection.
