SPRING 2014:  Caylen appeared in 13 games for Oregon State University.  He finished with a .500 batting average on one hit in two at bats and scored 2 runs.

SPRING 2013:  Caylen played one season for the College of the Siskiyous in the northernmost part of California.  He hit .289 with 2 doubles, one homerun and 15 RBI.  He also stole 16 bases. 

HIGH SCHOOL (2012):  Caylen attended Aloha HS in Beaverton OR.  He lettered three years in baseball, served as team captain and was ranked No. 4 overall in Oregon by Baseball Northwest.  He was selected for Mariners Cup and Mariners Scout Team and was an Honorable Mention All-American by Perfect Game.  He also lettered three years at quarterback and cornerback in football, and as a senior, he was named first-team All-State at defensive back and Honorable Mention at quarterback.

PERSONAL:  Caylen is majoring in communications ..He was born in 1993 to Rene and Russell Clardy and has 3 siblings, Micah, Tiawna and Jeramie ... He enjoys music production, ping pong and fishing in his spare time ... His favorite athlete is Robinson Cano, favorite movie is Remember The Titans, and chose Oregon State “Because there is no better place to play ball than Beaver Nation.”
