A Preseason Second Team All-CAA by SoutheastBaseball.com; Alex is listed as an All-CAA candidate by Easton's CollegeBaseballToday.com.  He was named CAA's best defensive outfielder by CollegeBaseballInsider.com and was a preseason All-CAA by Yahoo! Sports.  However Alex was academically ineligible for 2010 season.  In his previous 3 season at JMU Foltz was atop nearly every offensive category on the team and within the conference.  In his previous 3 seasons Alex has hit a solid .340 average and currently holds the records for runs scored (136) at JMU.  He has had more than 60 hits in each of the last 3 seasons as well as being 53-69 in stolen bases.  He has led JMU the last 3 seasons with 12 HR and 76 RBI.
