From Houston, Texas, Connor attended Kinkaid High School where he lettered 4 times in baseball and twice in football. Was a 2009 Rawlings Preseason All-American and 2009 Preseason All-Texas. Was selected to the 2009 Greater Houston All-Star Game and was named to the 2009 ESPN All-Greater Houston team. Plays at Vanderbilt with former Newport Gulls Chase Reid and Aaron Westlake.
