Eric played high school ball at Aloha high school under coach Roy Love graduating in 1984. He played college ball as a pitcher at Portland State University under coach Jack Dunn ‘85-‘87.  He was selected in the 2nd round of the ’87 draft by the San Francisco Giants.  Eric played 8 years in the big leagues with several teams.  Eric is married to his college sweetheart Ariel and has a 12 y/o daughter named Avery that attends  in Camas, WA. He is also the uncle of record setting Oregon State closer Kevin Gunderson. Eric is on the BOD for the Corvallis Knights.
