At Marin Catholic HS, Woodcock was a 4 year varsity starter for Coach Tim Grayson. In his senior year, he was 12-0 with an ERA of 0.60. He was the MCAL Player of the Year, the North Coast Section Player of the Year and led his team to an NCS Championship. For all his efforts, Robb was named the ESPN RISE Cal-Hi All State Player of the Year for small schools. He was also a MaxPreps All American.  

Robb played baseball at CAL from 2011-2013. He played in the Northwoods League in the summer of 2012 for the Green Bay Bullfrogs. He took a medical redshirt in his second year at CAL because of Tommy John surgery and sat out the 2012-13 season. He is now playing at Palomar College in San Diego where he has been limited because of his injury. The Merchants are hoping that Woodcock is primed for a big comeback this summer.
