Matt Rogers is a right-handed pitcher from Western New England College.  A native of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Matt had one of the best seasons in WNEC history.  In 15 games, 12 starts, he went 10-1 with a 3.46 ERA.  Matt threw 2 complete games in 2010 and in 80.2 innings pitched he walked just 17 and struck out 49.  In 2009 Matt appeared in 17 games, 7 starts, going 5-3 with a 4.20 ERA.  He also threw 2 complete games and recorded 1 save.  In 2008 was used primarily as a reliever.  He appeared in 11 games in relief, 12 total, going 4-0 with a 4.36 ERA.
