Tucker started playing professional baseball in 2012 with the Gary SouthShore RailCats. His first year with Gary came toward the later part of the summer with Tucker playing only 12 games, putting up a .297 average in 39 plate appearances. In 2013 Tucker spent time with both the Gary SouthShore RailCats and the Windy City ThunderBolts of the Frontier League, combing for a .214 batting average with eight extra base hits and 23 RBI’s. In 2014 Tucker was with the Frontier Greys, which is a traveling team in the Frontier Leagues. While with the Greys Tucker batted .228 with 13 extra base hits and 23 RBI’s over 85 games. As a senior at the University of Redlands he hit .304 and was second on the team with 31 RBI…led the team with six triples and 17 stolen bases in 20 attempts…named Second-Team All-SCIAC…in 2011 he led all of NCAA Div. III with 11 triples…batted .381 with three homers and 35 RBI…led the team with 53 runs, 64 hits, 22 walks and 103 total bases…named First-Team All-SCIAC and First-Team All-Region…Helped team to 30-13 record and conference championship…hit a game-winning three-run home run on April 29 against Whittier College to clinch conference title.
