Matt Kennedy comes to Joliet with a resume of success at the collegiate level. He spent this spring as assistant coach for Division 1 High Point University in North Carolina. Prior to that, Kennedy had a tremendous five year run as Head Coach at Parkland College in Champaign where his win-loss record was 217-76 and winning the D2 Junior College National Championship in 2009. His program spawned 8 All-Americans there and 75 of his players went on the play at four-year schools. In 2006, Kennedy was hitting coach at Indiana State University where the Sycamores finished second in the conference in hitting and slugging percentage. |
