Tagg Duce, a utility player signed with Dallas Baptist University for the upcoming year, will surely be a staple in the Dawgs’ lineup this summer. As a sophomore at Cochise College last season, Duce played in 70 games in the infield for a fantastic team, as Cochise placed in third overall in the JUCO World Series last year, and his performance earned him the Defensive MVP award for the series to go along with his First Team All-Region and First Team All-Conference honors. He led his team with 91 hits, 72 RBIs, seven home runs. Duce also came in first in doubles and slugging percentage, and second overall in stolen bases, making it obvious why he is a prospect in the upcoming MLB draft.
