The Golden Baseball League season fits this St. Albert High School teacher’s schedule perfectly.  Gord has been a fixture on the local baseball scene for some time and the sport has given him the opportunity to land some pretty cool jobs.  He was the manager of the Australian National Champions, the Perth Heat in 2008 and has been a coach with Team Canada in various capacities since 1998.   He was part of the bronze medal winning Team Canada at the Pan-Am Games in Winnipeg in 1999 and worked in the Oakland A’s Class ‘A’ affiliate the Vancouver Canadians in 2002.    Gord won the 1978 National Championship back in his playing days with the Edmonton Tigers.
