| Jeremy Etchemendy joins the Lunkers from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville where he served as an assistant baseball coach in 2010. A 2007 graduate of Clarke College, Coach Etchemendy was a three-year varsity baseball letter winner for the Crusaders. A native of Lamoille, Nev., Coach Etchemendy attended Cerro Coso Community College in Ridgecrest, California before transferring to Clarke. While a student-athlete at Clarke, Etchemendy earned Academic All Conference and Dean's List honors. Prior to joining the University of Wisconsin-Platteville coaching staff, Coach Etchemendy was a two-year assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Clarke College. In the summer of 2008, Coach Etchemendy was named the head baseball coach of the Anson Roughriders. The Roughriders are a summer team based in the Tar Heel Summer Collegiate League out of Wadesboro, North Carolina. Coach Etchemendy led the Roughriders to a first place finish in the league. In the summer of 2009, Coach Etchemendy served as the head baseball coach for the Valley Beavers team based out of the River Valley Collegiate Baseball League in Dubuque, Iowa. The Beavers finished the season with a .600 winning percentage, and a second place finish in the league's post-season tournament. Coach Etchemendy currently resides in Dubuque, Iowa and has recently completed his Master's of Arts Degree in Writing through Goddard College in Plainfield, VT. | |||||||
