2014 is Jordan Mejia's first season with the ThunderBolts and third as a professional. He began his career in 2012, when he was selected in the 22nd round of the amateur draft by the Colorado Rockies. He spent two seasons pitching for the Rockies' rookie level affiliate.  He was drafted out of Riverside Community College in California, where he went 5-5 in two years with a 3.17 ERA in 23 games. He was 4-1 with a 1.89 ERA in his sophomore year. Jordan attended Arlington High School in Riverside, California.
