SPRING 2014: Ryan transferred to Lubbock Christian University Lubbock, Texas for his junior year and is pitching for the Chaparrals. He appeared in 8 games (starting 2) for a total of 19 innings posting 19 strikeouts and 10 walks and an 6.16 ERA. The Chaparrals finished the season 39-10 overall and won the Heartland Conference with a 24-4 record.
SUMMER 2013: Ryan pitched for the BlueJackets in 13 games (starting 11) for a total of 65 innings. He posted 34 strikeouts, 26 bases on balls and a 5.53 ERA.
SPRING 2013: As a sophomore at Olympic College, Ryan pitched in 10 games (started 8) and posted a 3.22 ERA and a record of 3 and 6 over the 61.1 innings. He dealt 23 strikeouts and gave up 19 bases on balls. Playing first base, Ryan batted .250 with 19 RBI and 20 runs scored in 96 plate appearances. He has 24 hits including 5 doubles, 3 triples and 1 homerun along with drawing 19 walks.
SPRING 2012: As a freshman at Olympic College, Ryan hit .217 including 6 doubles and one homerun for 6 RBI and 10 runs scored. He pitched in 7 games (starting 6) for 24.2 innings striking out 15 ending the season with a 1-3 record and a 4.37 ERA.
HIGH SCHOOL: Ryan graduated in 2010 from Juan Diego HS outside of Salt Lake City, UT . He played infield and pitched for the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagles and carried a .506 batting average with 16 RBI and 29 runs scored.
