SPRING 2014: In his senior year at Fountain Valley HS, Daniel played in 28 games (starting all). He finished the season batting .434 on 83 at bats, 36 hits including 10 doubles, 2 triples and 2 home runs. His on base percentage was .586, slugging percentage .675 for an on base plus slugging of 1.260. His team won the Sunset League Championship for the second year in a row. In his playoff games, he hit .511 and had an on base percentage of .661, slugging percentage of .822 and an on base plus slugging of 1.484. Daniel was a 4-year starter at shortstop. He was named to the All-County All Star team.
SUMMER 2013: He played in the Connie Mack World Series with the SoCal Renegades. The SoCal Renegades played for the championship against the East Cobb Yankees losing 6-2.
SPRING 2013: In his junior year in high school, he hit home runs in 4 consecutive at-bats and was selected as Team MVP. His team won the Sunset League championship. He was named to the 1st Team All-League at shortstop and selected as a Collegiate Baseball All-American.
PERSONAL: Daniel lives with his parents Dave and Susie, and his sister, Jessica. He enjoys body boarding and beach volleyball, working out at the gym, and spending time with his friends and teammates.
