Wilcox led Texas-Permian Basin in starts last season with 15, posting a 2-7 record with a 3.67 ERA for the 18-32 Falcons. Led team with 98 innings and 70 strikeouts while allowing 100 hits and walking only 17 batters. Was 2-4 for the Falcons as a junior, starting eight games with a 3.46 ERA and allowing 42 hits in 32 innings with a 37-7 strikeouts to walks ratio. Earned a letter as a relief pitcher as a sophomore, making eight appearances out of the bullpen and two more as a starter, posting a 2-2 record with one save and a 5.20 ERA in 27 2/3 innings. Also pitched in six games out of the bullpen as a freshman in 2010, posting a 1-0 record with one save and a 3.24 ERA in 8 1/3 innings. Attended Southwest High School.
