Angelucci played at Suffolk County Community College and SUNY Cortland. Has said he “wears his New York Yankees cap like a crown.” All-American twice at Suffolk, once at SUNY Cortland, where he was 12-1 with a 1.50 ERA in 2012. Was 17-2 was Suffolk County, striking out 172 batters in 121 innings, allowing only 62 hits and walking 47. Led Commack High School to a county championship in 2008 with an 8-2 record. Has been timed as throwing a fastball as high as 94 miles per hour and also throws a curve, slider, and change.
