Jeremy was only a freshman for the Hartford Hawks in 2013, but the young right-hander handled the pressure of closing games for a team en route to their second consecutive America East conference championship. Charles led the Hawks with six saves and limited his opponents to only two extra-base hits over more than 20 innings of work.
As a sophomore, Charles ranked second among Hartford relievers with a 2.18 ERA, 3 saves and 17 hits allowed over 11 appearances. The Pennsylvania native looks to compete for the closer role on this year’s Schooner ball club.
