As a freshman just an hour from home at Boston College Adams appeared in 39 games making 37 starts posting a .223 average, 29 hits, three doubles and 12 RBI’s. Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences Adams is a defensive minded player leading the Eagles in fielding percentage.Before BC, Adams was a 4 year letterman at Walpole High School. He helped lead the team to two Bay State League Championships. He was a three-time First Team Bay State League All-Star. In 2011 Adams made USA Baseball NTIS North Atlantic Team Roster. In 2012, Adams received Perfect Game Underclass Honorable Mention. As a senior in 2013 Adams was named team captain, earned First Team all-State Honors and Rawlings North East Regional Second Team. Adams was also a Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Student Ambassador in 2012 and 2013 as well as the 2013 Walpole Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year.As a boy Adams was a member of a the Walpole Americans and captured the MA State All-Star and new England Regional Championships. He and his teammates competed in the 2007 Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA
