The Wake Forrest righty has spent two seasons as a redshirt player. In 2013, Fossas made 12 appearances out of the bullpen and proved to be one of Wake Forest's best relievers. Posted a 3.63 ERA and a 1-0 record. Also he had one save on the year and recorded 11 strikeouts in 22.1 innings of relief. Fossas made his collegiate debut on Feb. 20 at Western Carolina, pitching 0.2 innings. In 2014 he became the closer for Wake Forest and anchored the bullpen. Fossas made 27 appearances with a 5-1 record and a 3.51 ERA and 10 saves which were among the leaders in the ACC. Over all he pitched 41.0 innings and struck out 25. Fossas was named to the 2014 NCBWA Stopper of the Year Watch List
