Mulford is a Long Island local who plays his college ball for Adelphi University Panthers.  This right hander is making the journey from New York to play for North Adams this summer.
As a high school student, he was selected as a 2 time Nassau County Summer League All-Star and Diamond Club Coaches Award.  He also played golf for three years.  Upon joining the Adelphi club, he made 13 freshman appearances, 9 of which were starts.  He was second on the team with a 3.38 ERA and 56 innings pitched.  He went 5-3 this past season with a 2.89 ERA.  
This business major has good stuff and will be a big part of the SteepleCats pitching staff.
