Signed as an undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Royals in 2011 after playing collegiately at Florida Atlantic University. Began 2011 with the Arizona League Royals before being called up to the Idaho Falls Chukars. Hit a combined .390 in 2011 with four homers and 23 doubles with 34 RBIs in 51 games. In 2012, DelGuidice spent the entire year with the Idaho Falls Chukars, batting .287 with three homers, 15 doubles and 22 RBIs in 47 games. Before the 2013 season, Nick signed with the Rockland Boulders of the Canadian-American Association, hitting .218 in 39 games with four homers, seven doubles and 19 RBIs. Played two games with the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks before signing with the Greys.
