Joe Wendle is a sophomore infielder for the West  Chester University Golden Rams. In his second year for the Golden Rams, Wendle started all 53 games and led WCU offensively with a .389 batting average, 81 hits, and a .636 slugging percentage. In his 208 at-bats, Wendle hit seven home runs, 20 doubles, five triples, drove in 58 runs, stole 18 bases, and struck out a mere 17 times. Solid defensively as well earning a 2010 NCAA Division II Rawlings Gold Glove, committing only 6 errors in 260 chances. Has started all 111 games in his college career. In 2009, Wendle hit .325 with 67 hits and 36 RBI. Native of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania Wendle attended Avon Grove High School .
