Greg Miller is a freshman utility player for the Tulane University Green Wave. In his first season with the Green Wave, Miller was redshirted. In the fall of 2009 he recovered from a thumb injury to reach base four times with two hits in the Tulane Fall World Series. Labeled by his coach as a “big physical kid who can play the outfield and infield corner positions.” Native of Bristol, Connecticut, Miller had a stellar high school career. Earned Under Armour All-American honors in 2008 and 2009. Transferred to Avon Old Farms High School and hit .340 with nine doubles, three homeruns despite missing most of junior year with a thumb injury.
