Tyler DeLoach is a tall lefty who, despite seeing limited action this past season at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, is very talented and arrives in North Adams with high expectations. 

DeLoach played his high school ball at Roanoke Rapids High School. He was an All-State 2A selection as a senior. DeLoach was also an All-North Carolina Conference selection that year and was named the conference’s Player of the Year. He threw an 18-strikeout no-hitter against Farmville Central in the first round of the state tournament that year. As a junior, DeLoach went 6-0 and fanned 80 batters in just 35 innings of work.
