Chris Forsten is a catcher from The College of William & Mary.  Was a preseason honorable mention All-CAA following a freshman campaign where he hit .282 with 4 doubles, 19 runs batted in, and was named to the All-CAA Rookie Team.  He validated the pick by hitting .289 with 3 homeruns and 52 RBIs.  Playing in and starting 51 games Chris also contributed 19 doubles, stole 5 bases, and threw out 27% of runners attempting to steal.  In high school he helped lead Notre Dame Academy to 4 straight VISBA Virginia state championships.  Born to Michael and Kim Forsten in Washington, D.C.  He carries on a family athletic tradition as his father Michael played professional volleyball.  Chris is also teammates with Gulls pitcher John Farrell at the College of William & Mary.
