Hailing from West Sayville, New York, Italiano is currently a freshman at Boston College.  A 5'10" 180 pound right-handed hitting catcher for the Eagles baseball team, Italiano arrived at the Heights after an accomplished high school career at St. Anthony's High School. 

As team captain and MVP during his senior campaign, Italiano was named an ESPN RISE Magazine All-Area for the New York Metro region, and a Suffolk County All-Star team selection.  Scouts tout Italiano's quick release to second base and his line-drive approach at the plate.

“Anthony will add some depth to our catching,” said Bay Sox General Manger Kirk Fredriksson, “We’re expecting him to be behind the plate a lot this summer.”
