Born July 6, 1989, Rossi is a third year player out of Bristol, CT.  While attending Bristol Central High School, Rossi led the team to state championship game in his junior season and earned a spot on the All-State team senior year, and was selected All-Conference twice.  In his 2009 season, Rossi became the University of New Haven’s all-time leader in saves on April 19.  During his junior season, Rossi led the Chargers win 11 saves and recorded 3 wins, posting a 1.67 ERA which was second best on the team.
