Andy is considered one of the top pitchers in the Midwest. A three-year letter winner at Wayzata High School, Andy also compiled a 7-1 record for the Minnesota Blizzard Baseball Academy last summer. He had an ERA of 1.77, struck out 52 batters in 51 innings, and demonstrated his talent at the plate with a .388 batting average. The scouting report says Andy has an explosive fastball in the 87 to 91 mph range with a sharp breaking ball and an effective changeup.
