A 49th round pick by the Chicago Cubs last year, Christian is one of the fastest baseball players in the Northeast and is routinely timed in the 6.45-6.6 range in the 60.  While a hamstring injury limited his playing time in 2009, he hit .500 with three homeruns in the seven games he was able to play. Despite the injury, he was invited to play in the prestigious Empire State Games and represented the Western Region as the team’s centerfielder.
