Bille comes to the AirHogs from the St. Paul Saints of the American Association where he went 2-6 with a 2.40 ERA in 2009. In 56.1 innings pitched, he struck out 58 batters.
The right-hander spent 2005 in Single-A affiliated ball within the Florida Marlins organization. Since then, he has played four seasons in independent leagues, two in the American Association.
Bille attended Cal Polytechnic State University and tallied a 1-1 record and 2.73 ERA with a school record 14 saves in 2005. He appeared in 27 games, all in relief and struck out 23 batters in 33 innings. Bille earned second-team All-Big West honors as a relief pitcher.
