Ryne Tacker joins the AirHogs after spending the 2009 season in the Golden Baseball League with the Long Beach Armada and Chico Outlaws.

Selected by Oakland Athletics in 34th Round of the 2007 amateur entry draft, Tacker played in the A’s farm system at the Class-A level in 2008, and notched 29 strikeouts in 36 innings pitched.

Tacker played out his collegiate career at Rice University and was named C-USA Pitcher of the Year in 2007, a season in which he went 9-1 with a 3.01 ERA in 22 appearances.
