Signed with the Miners on 6/15/09…Reunited with former Evansville Otters pitching coach Brendan Sagara…Allowed just one earned run in his first 10.1 innings…Tied for the team lead with six saves on the season…Allowed just one run, which was unearned, in 22.1 innings at Rent One Park…Finished 22 games, the most by any Miners pitcher…Allowed an earned run in only six of this 29 appearances…From July through the end of the season, averaged 10.27 K/9IP.

Signed with Evansville in the Frontier League prior to the season but as a Canadian citizen, was unable to join the team until 6/13/08 following complications obtaining a visa…Made his professional debut on 6/17/08, tossing 3.0 scoreless innings at River City…Posted a 1.64 ERA in 11.0 innings as a reliever, averaging a strikeout per inning before entering the starting rotation…Finished the year 3-6 with a 5.23 ERA after making 12 starts…Struck out a career high 10 batters in 6.2 scoreless innings against Rockford on 7/5/08.
