Kotch has played for the Somerset Patriots during parts of three seasons, including two games last year. He also played in Somerset for 17 games during the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

 

Prior to his time with the Patriots, Kotch had experience in the Baltimore Orioles organization and independent minor league service in the Atlantic League and Frontier League.

 

He played for the York Revolution, Lancaster Barnstormers, and Camden Riversharks in the Atlantic League.
